BROADWAY TO BEETHOVEN AND BACK
Sunday, May 5, 2019, The Cabot Theater, Beverly, 3:00PM
Genius comes in all forms. Broadway composers, for almost 100 years, have created unforgettable melodies that have seeped into our shared consciousness. Join us for classics by Stephen Sondheim, Richard Rodgers, Andrew Lloyd-Webber and others. Beethoven tried his hand in a dozen theater works but his unparalleled genius shines through his absolute music. Among these works, his Fifth Symphony stands out as a powerful testament to the spirit of mankind and perhaps the most universally recognizable work in history. A rousing season finale!
